The Arborea Cymbal brand was created by the Jinshengyuan Musical instruments co., ltd in 2006.

It is one of the few family-owned enterprises in China that is professional in producing copper percussion instruments.

The factory was established by the present directors great-grandfather during the Guang Xu years in Dynasty Qing.

Jinshengyuan Musical Instruments co. ltd is also the oldest copper percussion instrument manufacturer enterprise with

the longest manufacturing process that been preserved to the present day for the last 40 years.
